GEMMS is an operating division of Gusto Group Limited.

Gusto Group has a 10-year track record in the sustainable construction and products sector, stretching back to the award winning Millennium Green housing development of its Gusto Homes division.  Completed in 2002, the homes built on this development use around 50% of the energy and 50% of the mains water compared to houses built to the standard Building Regulation requirements at the time. 

Another group company, Freerain Ltd, was formed in the light of the company’s experience on this development. At the time there were no suppliers of rainwater harvesting systems in the UK. Freerain provides developers of both domestic and commercial properties with rainwater harvesting systems that are easy to install, need minimum maintenance and are highly reliable. Large commercial Freerain systems incorporate water consumption monitoring and management systems to display the volume of harvested rainwater and mains water used within a building.

Gusto Group has used this experience to develop GEMMS, a monitoring technology to cover the remote monitoring of electricity, gas, oil, heat, and water.
